A Scandinavian peg tankard, on three paw feet with chased floral decoration and a lion and ball thumbpiece, the domed cover with floral chasing and an inset coin in the centre bordered by the inscription "JGSN 1740 RLDN", maker's mark AG [struck twice], probably 19th century 6.6in (16.7cm) high, 14oz.
