A Regency bronze torchere

A Regency bronze torchere, with a later pear shape glass shade having a spire finial, later light fitting, on a fluted column with an acanthus bowl to a square leaf supports and octagonal support on a later tapering parcel gilt octagonal stand applied masks, early 19th century and later, 85in (216cm) h. Provenance: 13 St Thomas Street, Winchester, Phillip's, 23 June 1992, lot 182.
