An Italian baroque walnut and marquetry armchair, the uprights with foliate finials to a panelled back with a shaped pediment to a carved border of 'C' scrolls and leaves to a central panel of inlaid strapwork, the flat arms with foliate carvings and scroll ends to a moulded edge seat and a conforming front stretcher, Lombardy c.1600.
