A George I Scottish mounted hardwood snuff mull
A George I Scottish mounted hardwood snuff mull, of upright, waisted oval section with an engraved frieze of debased foliage below the rim, the cover with an oval plaque inscribed "Whats Life Without a Friend" and engraved with a cypher, the base with a large cypher below a Baron's coronet and the date "Apr.l 3d", unmarked, c.1720, 2.3in (6cm) high.
