A 20th century continental 18ct gold small oval box, with borders of repeating foliate garlands, the cover set with a reverse carved and painted crystal depicting two cock pheasants strutting through grass, the interior with a frame (to take a miniature), the base inscribed "EHW from JWW 1925" probably Austrian 1st half of the 20th century, 2in (5.1cm) wide.
