A large Victorian Scottish Regimental mounted curly ramshorn

A large Victorian Scottish Regimental mounted curly ramshorn, with an embossed hinged cover, set with a faceted citrine boss, an applied shield cartouche inscribed "A TOKEN OF ESTEEM AND REGARD Lt. Col. P. Farquharson TO THE OFFICERS 65th Regt. 1843", fitted with four chains and four tools dependant ,(a mallet, a pierced shovel, a pricker and a rake), unmarked, c.1843, 9.5in (24cm) approximately overall.
