A George III bright engraved snuff box, of elongated oval outline with a repeating scale pattern in the front and back and roundels encircling the body, the cover initialled "GO" and hinged to facilitate "taking a pinch", gilt interior, maker's mark well struck but inaccessible, London 1790, 3.8in (9.6cm) long, 2oz.
