A carved pine fire surround, with applied decoration the frieze with a shell flanked by a pair of griffin issuing scrolling leafage, the stiles with ribbon tied husks, late 19th / early 20th century, 51.5in (131cm) h, 56.5in (143.5cm) w, outside measurement, aperture, 38 x 36.5in (96.5 x 93cm).
