A mahogany secretaire bookcase, the detachable cavetto moulded cornice above a pair of glazed tracery doors enclosing adjustable shelves, the base inlaid stringing with a leather lined fall enclosing six drawers and nine pigeon holes, above three further long graduated drawers fitted oval brass plate handles on swept bracket feet, early 19th century and later, 84.5in (214.5cm) h, 21.5in (54.5cm) d.
