The octagonal body decorated in underglaze blue, iron red and gold with shaped panels containing sprays of chrysanthemum and flowering prunus on a dense ground of rhomboid brocade designs, with bands of scrolls, flowerheads and stylised leaves above the foot and to the neck, the shoulder and lid decorated with further scrolls, leaves and brocade balls, with a rounded flattened finial, 52cm.
