A pair of Chinese millefleurs U-shaped bowls six character Jiaqing marks in iron-red and of the period 1796-1820, each brightly enamelled with a dense floral design, raised on a reticulated hardwood stand, 6.7cm. (4)

Provenance: Lt Col John Grenville Fortescue (1896-1969), of Dropmore, Buckinghamshire and Boconnoc, Cornwall, and thence by descent.
