A George II yew wood kneehole secretaire desk, with boxwood and ebonised stringing, the walnut top crossbanded, above a secretaire drawer fitted drawers above a shaped apron and a central recess cupboard door with a shelf flanked by two deep drawers either side all fitted replaced brass plate handles on bracket feet, 30.25in (77cm) h, 32in (81cm) w, 19in (48cm) d. Provenance: Crichel House, Dorset.
