A mid 18th century mahogany blanket chest, the hinged top carved a ho-ho bird within rococo cartouche with rocaille spandrels, the front with a pair of putti terms holding a ribbon tied drape, the florette and ribbon carved edges with shaped brass plate carrying handles and escutcheons on carved bracket feet, 31.5in (80cm) h, 49.25in (125cm) w, 24.5in (62cm) d.
