A 18th century Chinese padouk spindle back open armchair, the shaped top rail pierced a quatrefoil and two 'heart motifs', the arms on scroll supports to a later covered drop-in seat, on rondel capped square legs united by a peripheral stretchers on later leather roller castors, the seat rails and bases with inscribed Chinese characters.
