A fine Heriz Tabriz silk pictorial rug, decorated with trees and animals including: a tiger, a bear, a lizard, a wolf, a squirrel and birds with two figures, the corners with portrait bust spandrels and with a pair of deer, north west Persia, c.1880, (with heavy corrosion to the browns), 181 x 132.9cm.
