An unusual Regency mahogany writing table

An unusual Regency mahogany writing table, the crossbanded octagonal hinged top above two hinged swivel drawers, one fitted with a later leather lined ratcheted writing surface and with a pen tray and further divisions, with false drawer fronts above a secret compartment, on a stepped base with stylised leaf moulded hipped downswept legs and brass lion's paw sabot and castors, possibly Scottish, 75cm high, 56cm wide and deep.
