'Shape and Outline' a rare silk mosaic hanging by Lucienne Day, monogram to corner, signed and dated 1978 to reverse 102 x 50cm. The term silk mosaics originated when these designs were produced with every piece of silk being 1cm square. they were designed as one off wall hangings made in oriental, plain or shot silk from Thailand or India.
