A carved oval two-colour intaglio-mounted gold ring, the Hellenistic intaglio, 2nd century BC, depicting a goose in flight. The mount second half 17th century, with carved decoration to the shank and bezel, and with remnants of light blue enamel. The intaglio 1.0cm wide. Size E1/2.
