An Art Deco Burmese ruby and diamond brooch by Cartier, of stylised palm form and set with six emerald-cut rubies within a surround of graduated circular-cut and baguette-shaped diamonds in platinum. 4.2cm high. Signed Cartier London. Fitted case by Cartier.

Accompanied by report number 78432 dated 20th February 2015 from SSEF, Switzerland stating that the rubies weigh approximately 6.00 carats in total, with purplish red of medium, strong saturation and no indications of heating. Origin: Burma.
