An Indian dagger (katar), triangular blade with pronounced medial ridge flanked by broad fullers and with reinforced point, iron hilt of characteristic form with spatulate side bars and twin transverse grips, relief inlaid in gilt copper with lotus flowers within line and pellet borders, lacks scabbard, probably 17th Century.
