An English porcelain oval plaque c.1870, probably Davenport, painted by Richard Ablott with a titled view of the 'Castle of Holy Island', with many figures and laden horses on a beach, signed to the reverse, within a giltwood frame, the porcelain 33cm across. Provenance: Sotheby's, London, 18th July 1989, lot 191.
