A rare Chelsea model of Hercules slaying the Lernaean Hydra

A rare Chelsea model of Hercules slaying the Lernaean Hydra, assisted by his nephew, Iolaus, who seals the neck stumps with a red hot brand, the bocage hung with the golden apples of the Hesperides, raised on a scrolled base, gold anchor mark.
