This view of Tewkesbury shows the Abbey in the background with its large Norman tower. Tewkesbury developed at the confluence of the Rivers Severn and Avon and the bridge beyond the weir could be King John's Bridge which led to the Manor House when the King was Lord of the Manor of Tewkesbury.
