A late Victorian sapphire and diamond brooch pendant, the cushion shaped sapphire weighs approximately 16.27 carats and measures 14.06 x 13.00 x 10.97 mm deep, set with a border of fourteen cushion shaped diamonds in gold, with detachable brooch and pendant fittings, fitted case by Parkes. With gemmological report number 976823 stating that the sapphire is natural, has no evidence of heat treatment and from Sri Lanka.
