A George I West Country, provincial tubular example, with a pull off cover and base each with a 'scratched' flower, scratched sides with the initials "HC" and two internal compartments with a silver grater, (maker's mark only struck on each cover and the grater), by Sampson Bennett, Falmouth c.1720, 2.75in (7cm).
