A William & Mary tubular example with scratch-engraving and a pull off cap, engraved with a stylised tulip, the body pierced with a pattern of heart shapes and triangles and scratched on the end with the date and initials "1703" over "IW" over "EA", tubular silver grater, (maker's mark only struck once on base, and once on grater), "JM" [conjoined], unascribed, London c.1690, 2.8in (7.1cm).
