A George IV table grater, in the form of a sarcophagus with ball feet, volute and leaf handles and engine turned decoration, the hinged cover with a gadrooned border, centred by a small rectangular cartouche with two small crests, the interior gilt with a fixed grater, the base with a concealed hinge opening to reveal the nutmeg compartment, by John Reily, London 1825, 3.7in (9.4cm).
