A Victorian

A Victorian, gilt-tooled leather, "Lady's Companion", with a pull-off cover and fitted interior containing a mother of pearl and steel penknife, a propelling pencil, a leather needle and thread wallet with the following steel fittings: a pair of scissors, two bodkins, a piercer and a corkscrew, a note card, a mirror, a pin cushion drawer and a commemorative thimble decorated in relief with thistles, shamrock, roses and the dual portrait medallion of "Victoria & Albert", the case 4.4in (11.2cm) high.
