A George IV oblong snuff box, with reeded sides, an engine turned base and a raised floral border, the cover set with a plaque depicting a fox-hunting scene in relief, the interior gilt and inscribed "Presented to S.S. Perkins Esq. by his obliged friend J.C. Wilcocks 1861", by Edward Smith, Birmingham 1827, 2.85 (7.3cm) long, 3.25oz.
