circular form, the pull-off cover with raised scene of Pliny's doves, plain gold mounts and sides, the interior of the cover signed 'Giacomo Raffaelli fece Roma 1785', the interior also with an old collection label '15', and with an old paper cutting saying 'from the Collection of Sir Julian Goldsmid', diameter 7.8cm.
