maker's mark of IC, Oporto, circa 1870,

modelled as a peasant boy holding a flute and wearing a hat, standing in front of a tree stump, pierced with holes for toothpicks, on a raised rectangular base, canted corners, foliate decoration, on four paw feet, height 16.5cm, approx. weight 5.9oz.
