A late 19th/early 20th century American art nouveau cigarette case, embossed in low relief and chased on the cover with a naked maiden amongst the waves and a rather openmouthed fish seemingly agast at the spectacle, initialled, gilt interior, no maker's mark, c.1900, 4.5in (11.4cm) long, 4.75oz.
