An early 18th century Scandinavian tankard, on three lion and ball feet, each below an embossed flower, the squat domed cover with floral embossing, a central engraved roundel and a lion and ball thumbpiece, initialled, maker's mark only "MC" struck twice, probably Danish, unascribed, 6in (15.2cm) high, 17oz.
