A George I Irish chocolate pot, the domed cover with a bayonet fitting top section, (removable for use with a stirring stick), secured by a chain to the removable hinge pin, engraved coat of arms on one side, incised scratchweight on the base "24-10", maker's mark only partially visible, possibly by Edward Workman, Dublin 1717, 10.3in (26cm) high, 24oz.
