A George III embossed silvergilt sideboard dish, in the style of a Carolean example, lobed circular with a central Tudor rose boss bordered by trailing floral scrolls and petal shaped panels each decorated with a type of flower, engraved coronet and initials "JS", crest and Royal arms, by William Pitts, London 1809, 15.5in (39.4cm) diameter, 51oz.
