A modern silvergilt Freedom casket inscribed "Presented to Alderman David Powell MBE. JP in the occasion of being made a Freeman of the Borough of Brecon and the celebration of his Golden Wedding", decorated with applied enamel plaques of Alderman Powell, his wife, his monogram crest and motto and Brecon views, the lift off cover with an enamelled shield of the Borough of Brecon and other applied work, by unascribed maker "V & S" Birmingham 1923, lined, 12.5in (31.5cm) long.
