A Victorian vinaigrette, with engine turned sides and base, and raised foliate borders, the cover inset with a diaper pattern of coloured hardstones, the grille pierced and engraved with a basket of flowers, base initialled 'MA', by John Tongue, Birmingham 1841, 1.75in (4.3cm) wide, 1.75oz.
