A James I/Charles I large bodkin

A James I/Charles I large bodkin, with 'hatched' decoration, a drilled hole, a slot and an ear pick, makers mark only 'I I?' in a heart shaped or lobed punch, unascribed, c.1620-1640, 7.25in (18.3cm) long. This bodkin was excavated near Richmond, North Yorkshire and is most likely, but not certainly, to have been made in the vicinity.
