A continental silver hot water jug,
unmarked, probably late 18th century,
fluted baluster form, scroll handle, the domed hinged cover with a fluted finial, the spout with a hinged cover, on a raised circular foot, engraved with an armorial, height 21.5cm, approx. weight 16oz.
The arms are those of Lucas of Lowestoft, and Ashtead, Surrey.
