Description

A Nepalese gilt copper figure of Vasudhara, the Bodhisattva of abundance, seated in Lalitasana on a lotus throne, her right foot resting on a kalasa supported by a padma. Her hands holding lotus bud, kalasa, spike of grain, and pustaka, her remaining hands in Varadamudra. The gilding worn, some tones missing. 15th century, 16cm. Cf.
