Woolley & Wallis hold four quarterly auctions of oil paintings, watercolours, prints, miniatures and sculpture, ranging from the 16th to 21st Centuries. We sell studio collections as well as single works of art, and offer free sale valuations at our Castle Street salerooms.
Last year saw our record-breaking paintings sale in the summer with the sale of a painting by Cornelis Springer for £160,000 and a portrait by George Romney for £130,000. The sale total of £570,000 was the highest total for a picture sale ever at Woolley & Wallis. We have also been pleased to attain consistently high sale rates with 75-80% of lots selling for all our recent sales. If you would like to discuss a sale or valuation please contact the specialist Victor Fauvelle or his assistant Jo Butler.
