A RARE CHINESE DOUCAI 'LOTUS' JAR SIX CHARACTER QIANLONG SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1736-95 The ovoid body painted with four panels containing stylised lotus flowerheads and leaf scrolls divided by smaller lotus and cloud motifs, the shoulder and foot with bands of overlapping petals, together with a hardwood stand, 11.7cm.
