A JAPANESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL MINIATURE VASE AND COVER BY NAMIKAWA YASUYUKI (1845-1927)

MEIJI 1868-1912

The ovoid body decorated in silver and gold wire with cherry blossoms, scrolling tendrils and stylised floral medallions scattered over eight vertical panels of different colours, the neck and foot with matching arabesque motifs, the cover with further stylised flowers and buds and topped with a chrysanthemum finial, the base signed on a silver plaque Kyoto Namikawa, 10.7cm.
