A JAPANESE IVORY NETSUKE

MEIJI 1868-1912

Carved as a dog lying on a circular mat and scratching its ear, a ribbon and tether tied around its neck and with a small ball before him, the mat with stylised flowerheads and scrolls underneath, signed Tomokazu in an oval reserve, 4.9cm.

Provenance: an English private collection.
