A George III needlework sampler by Elizabeth Denne aged 5 years, worked with a band of flowers, with a pair of angels, a basket of fruit, urns of flowers and a central verse titled 'ON EDUCATION', signed and dated '1798', in a later glazed frame, the verso with remnants of original frame label for 'JAMES BROUMTON', 45.4 x 35.5cm.
