A large Aesthetic Movement tile probably designed by William Stephen Coleman, painted with a young girl seated in a blossoming tree bough, in colours on a matt brown ground unsigned, minor chips to corners, 23cm. square Catalogue notes This young girl is similar to the model used by W.S Coleman for his series of eighteen Christmas cards published by Thomas de la Rue circa 1880.
