Five large Burmantofts Faience architectural tiles designed by Pierre Mallet, each modelled in relief with birds, glazed olive green, comprising; an owl perched on a bough, a hawk perched above its nest, a nest of birds in long grass, a Kingfisher and a heron eyeing a swimming frog and a long-tailed bird hunting an unsuspecting frog, impressed Burmantofts Faience marks, one with original paper label, minor chips, 29.5cm. square.
