Catalogue Notes

Born in Barnsley, Yorkshire in 1860, William James Neatby worked for six years at Burmantofts, from 1884 he was employed as ceramic tile designer, and later moved to Doulton where he would carry out the tile mural decoration for Harrods Meat Hall in 1902.
