A pair of antique natural pearl drop earrings

A pair of antique natural pearl drop earrings, suspending from diamond set bows, caps and terminals in gold. Possibly Russian. Cased by Harvey and Gore.

Provenance:
Purchased by the current owner's father from Harvey and Gore in 1938 as a wedding gift to his bride.

Accompanied by report number 73524 from SSEF, Switzerland dated 17th March 2014 stating that the slightly baroque, drop-shaped, drilled pearls weigh 23.903ct (95.61 grains), and 23.873ct (95.49 grains) and measure approximately 12.60 x 14.15 x 19.65mm and 12.25 x 14.50 x 20.15mm, with light cream to cream colour. Both are natural saltwater pearls.
