A good Meissen figure of a coppersmith c.1750
A good Meissen figure of a coppersmith c.1750, modelled by J. J. Kändler, from the Artisan series, seated on a stump and hammering out a copper pan against an anvil, his foot resting on a further block with a teapot to one side, the scrolling base picked out in green and puce enamels, blue crossed swords marks to the rear, 18cm.
